Have we suggestions for the journalist/vigilante/detective/cop?


They have to make thier own minds up but is there something we want done? each role does it different.

Journo? who to look at... I vote the lesser known warblers who are hard to read.... i like the suggestion to put something in that talks about day 1 somehow. I don't know how the thing works but if the mafia don't ge tto see this they have to do their own version and maybe this would be interesting.

Vigilante? I don't know. I've no confidence to pick a head to kill but said vigilante risks going later and later.

Detective? I presume they know something from yesterday but have not said it. Again they need to pick someone. again they risk going later and later too before revealing. should they pick one of those up for vote now? I dunno

cop? Sky needs to come on, this role is not sooooo key but he can arrest someone and that could be a suspect today just to hope to block the mafia. its hard to predict who.

 

I'd definitely like to see one of the quiet people get put under pressure. If it doesn't happen today then tomorrow hopefully some more light is shed on certain people who have avoided suspicion.

Other than myself being in it (an interesting development), I dont think BRB is mafia, and am only 50/50 on Valley. Have a feeling this is going to go pear shaped.

Valley - Suspicious actions and voting pattern. He did seem to be implying for a while he was being pressured to vote. Newbie actions? Or miscommunication amonst Mafia?

BRB - Completely nuts posting end of Day 1. He essentially killed IBWT- so either he's terrible mafia or innocent. If he's terrible Mafia let him go on killing off his teammates!

mummy - I know I'm innocent. You don't. (unless you're Mafia and thus no who is innocent)

Bodanki - Nothing substantial. Think he had a role in the late night shenanigans last night- only dirt I have. Minor possibility of being in team with RHC.

No lynch - Mr No Lynch is as guilty as frack!


AFCFTW - Uncharacteristically quiet for AFC. Busy- or playing possum?

billy - Billy has had a knack of posting but remaining blended in with the scenery. This is normal for Billy though- guilty or innocent he blends in without attracting attention. Think it will take an investigation to remove Billy's poker face. Nothing guilty yet.

Danilo - Danilo is one of the quiet ones so won't give away much from posting... another one to investigate.

Gerrez - I was going to mark Gerrez blue... but he's not acting the same as normal. He is drawing attention to how everyone is out to get him (Even though he has no votes on him) - this seems very uncharacteristic for the poster who is usually cool under fire. Gut instinct is telling me to watch Gerrez because of this.

Lucaaas - I think we have to assume that Lucaaas is innocent for now. Newspaper said he was.

Nozzer - Not really seen anything to suggest guilt from Nozzer.

RHC - other than the switch away from Bod that broke the temporary equilibrium... RHC has been quiet and nothing too outstanding.

sky - We know Sky is innocent.

Swarbs - Don't have much to go on- been rather quiet.



As always, I recommend investigators watch the quiet ones.

 

Ok well for now I'm gonna wait. Vote is tied although I'm fairly sure two of those three have done nothing to be suspicious of

Problem with a tied vote like this is that all 3 on the vote will change things around. If one is Mafia we know they won't let it stay tied anyway and even when innocent nobody wants to get voted off.

All in all... I have nothing concrete- and even the ones I marked orange are only orange not blue because I consider them slightly more suspect than the rest.

Thinking about it, we should know about Lucaaas at 10am tomorrow.

Either the paper will report it was hacked and we will cast suspicion over him
Or it will not report it was hacked and we will know he is innocent

Either way, good enough argument for waiting and seeing tomorrow, assuming the paper can report the hack of course!

I'm thinking it might be an idea to put danilo in the coinflip. Like Gerrez just said - a no lynch vote is the best way to avoid being associated with anyone, so ideal strategy for a Mafioso to take. Then again, also a good strategy for a townie with a role to take, so impossible to tell which at this stage.

Out of interest, how does the investigator publish their findings? I assume they have no way to do this without revealing themselves?

MITO - I don't have any dirt on MITO yet. Seems to be helpful, but I'm keeping an eye on him because he's tricky and left his name off the table from which I built my list!

 

Suspicious: valley (claimed to be leaned on when not and strange vote), gerrez (really keen to clear his name even when not in for the vote, possible links with valley or brb, doesn't seem himself), brb (crazy voting, his move to lynch a mafia made him look a cert innocent and if mafia powers aren't as they seem this could of been a very clever move to keep him safe, he seems to fall away from the voting so far in this game)

Less suspicious but on my radar: Bodanki (late vote, but it was after brb sent things crazy), danilo (very quiet and choosing not to get involved in votes), RHC (another quiet one and he has also vote with little reason given, feel he may be going under the radar and possibly linke d with Bodanki?)

Others I haven't really formed an opinion on yet!

 

Still not back from work yet by the way but able to get to the iPad fairly often so should be fairly active heading towards the end of the day, minus the time it takes when I drive home!

 

I don't see what effect the cop (Sky) has other than being a known innocent. All he can do is our someone in custody from nightfall until 10am.

From what I can see, this would stop the journo publishing the paper, the heavy leaning on someone the following day (no longer possible anyway), stop the vigilante and assassin killing that night.

Seems there is more chance he can harm us townies more than the Mafia at present

 

Three Scenarios.

1) Paper Hacked Day One- Not Hacked Day Two.
--- Tomorrow's Paper will Say Day One Was Hacked.

2) Paper Not Hacked Day One- But Hacked On Day Two
--- Paper could say: --- Day One Was Hacked. - to throw us off and make us suspect Lucaaas. Of course- then on Day Three Journalist can tell us hacked on day 2.
or
--- Paper could say: --- Nothing about being hacked- Mafia try to throw us off some other way.

3) Paper Not Hacked Day One and Not Hacked on Day Two
--- Paper will not say anything about being hacked --- This is ideal because we would then know Lucaaas is innocent. Of course- if they recruit Lucaaas we'll be back to square one.




In Summary: If paper doesn't say hacked we will know Lucaaas is most likely innocent.
If paper says it was hacked... it probably means Lucaaas is guilty- but not definitely.
