I just posted a picture of Jersey with a (pretty good, I think!) circuit drawn around the roads of it. At the request of Genji, how good do you think your home towns would be for a Grand Prix? Post Suggestions here, or email to a mr. Ecclestone.

I hope I'm not butting in unnecessarily but maybe think not just of your hometowns but towns you know. I read recenlty that there were rumours in Majorca of a circuit in the south west of the island. Some decent graphics like jerseymackem's would be a lot of fun...

For Mr Tambourine Man, I've quickly knocked something up to include the section he wanted, although I may have another stab at a Sheffield GP, I've got a few ideas of my own.

For my first effort, look here

(Its a useful website for this sort of thing by the way)

Nice one, that would be pretty epic, especially that it goes past where I used to live so I could have front row seats

My town is less than a mile wide and wouldn't be ideal for a F1 circuit

I've tried to plan one for Ipswich but I'm a bit stuck due to the fact that every straight would have a roundabout every 200 yards! And lots of the decent roads would need to have the speed bumps taken down!

Can we not just use the whole of the M25 for one massive grand prix?

Well if we're getting into an East Anglian turf war, I feel I should wade in and represent Norfolk. But we should really all just agree Great Yarmouth is a ***hole and be done with it!

I'd love to see a grand prix circuit like the old spar track which runs around small lanes in rural country, we'll just have to limit the cars to 30mph with huge amounts of downforce to make it safe!

You know what, I've realised that the plan I initially drew out was unrealistic at best. I've drafted a new one (still of Jersey), that I intend to present to the States of Jersey tomorrow. I will send this to Terry Le Suer (Chief Minister of Jersey) and Bernie Ecclestone tomorrow. I hope they will approve this fine track as the 20th Grand Prix of the season, the Channel Islands Grand Prix.

As a country boy I don't really have a city for a street circuit so I've gone for my own green hell. Used by Evo magazine all the time, but won't be many laps:
