Queens Park Rangers are believed to be looking at taking Luke Young back to London, skysports.com understands. The Aston Villa full-back would no doubt be open to the chance of moving back to the capital. QPR are looking to bring in up to five players before next week's deadline and Neil Warnock is keen to strengthen in every department. 32-year-old Young has been involved in the opening two Premier League games, but Villa boss Alex McLeish would seemingly be willing to do a deal. That would be because he already has Spurs' Alan Hutton firmly in his sights and, having managed him with Rangers and Scotland, would love to bring him to Villa Park. Villa made enquiries for Hutton earlier this summer, but would only move for him if they sold players.
We seem to be linked exclusively to ageing players who have been round the clubs.... Fine if we get them in, on short term contracts, and Neil can motivate them to give their all to keep us up this year. But would prefer some fresher legs in there as well...
Is that a joke?? Walker is amazing. Hopefully the ****e 45mins he had for Spuds will convince Harry that he's not good enough. We all know different tho, seeing him for 4 months, he's top drawer.
Agreed he has great potential and would love to see him in the hoops but defensivly he has a lot to learn,
Walker wasn't bad last night anyway and he was playing with an illness. Unfortunately he's now way out of our league. Young would be a good signing.
Agree, someone call Ian Gillard and Paul Parker! Would love to see Neil work his magic on some young raw talent. Its going to take a while for the youth accedemy to kick in so in the meantime we should be looking at 19 - 26 years
He wasn't ****e for Spurs yesterday, he was subbed at half-time because he was ill and vomited during the break
