If Lukaku did ask for a transfer, why the hell was he not taken aside and quietly talked to ?? He's a kid who is bursting to help his team, yet at the first sign of petulance is shown the door. Piss poor man management from where I sit. Could Lukaku be another outstanding youngster who never plays for us because we prefer robotrons to skill ?? ?? If a player has skill and flair like Hazzard, Azpi, Mata and Luiz, it seems they either play dumbed down, or they're on their bikes. Buggered if I understand why we have an over 30s rule, seems more like we need an under 25s rule.
Interesting that ALL the players who are being marginalised are among the most popular with our fans.
Wish we would use the skills we have to their upmost, and adapt the " Plan", rather than the other way around.

CP-- I go with you on that one! Its difficult to understand the rationale when all the media swamp us with their views and Jose comes up with something different! As long as we drive the Blues forward I live with the decisions! Its easy to think we all know better than Jose, but we have to understand, there's things that happen on the coach, in the dressing room, at Cobham.. that the press dont get access to and neither do we! If it all goes tits up at the end, then we can fire bullets! <ok>

Think the deluded op doesn't get if, a kid believes in himself asks the manager what his chances are and he gets a negative, so he decides to showcase his talent, I hate the merseyside blueshite but good luck to the lad.<ok>

I second that -can't understand that claptrap philosophy of Lukaku helping to take points off our competitors and potentially establishing Everton as a top4 candidate in the process. Our loan policy in the case of proven quality does not make sense; the more time they spend away from the club the more likelihood of them going native esp when your manager starts a media slanging match.

Lukaku has that tendency to talk his mind out on several occasions.
Jose ain't someone who is going to accept that. Fear the worst. Looks like we will be missing the cream of Belgian revolution.

You are right BM2, it's impossible to figure out what's happening at Cobham.Very good second half yesterday, felt for Essien, he had a shocker. Hope he gets another run soon, he needs game time.
Will follow your example and stay positive, we are after all, still hanging in there.

    Hear hear CP.

Football is meant to be fun. We are up top not losing 6-0 to the Millers.

We are lucky to be witnessing a golden era at Chelsea (in some ways). Remember 80-83 (bar Cup run 82)

Only five? ****inghell. You'll need a bit more consistency then, hardly the smallest of margins.
