    Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy wants an offer close to £50m for Modric which prices him out of a move to Manchester United. Real Madrid can only offer £20m for the Croat star. Chelsea have prepared a £36m bid for Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric. AVB is set to be announced as Spurs manager and Moutinho is likely to replace Luka Modric when he goes.

    I laugh how some spuds fans complain Mountinho isn't worth 32-35mil, yet they think Modric is worth 40Mil+ <laugh>

    We should forget about Modric at those crazy prices and get Moutinho directly. Don't tell me he'd rather go to Spurs than Chelsea!!!!!!!
    Modric 22 mill at the absolute outside. Think hard Levy, 22 mill and falling fast.
