Any and all updates on Lucas' injury to be posted here. God we need him back, would mean Gerrard pushed forward and not acting as a holding midfielder. Everything will be better when Lucas is back...

We don't need Spearing back, he's not good enough, Joe Allen is doing a job playing deeper and will move forward when Lucas comes back.

Is there an estimated date yet for him? Need to make sure he isn't thrown in too early otherwise we'll be in for longer spells without him

    I wasnt being serious.

Rodgers seems to be coaching Henderson to play that role.

English players who play that role are kind of rare.

  8. Henderson is very capable of playing there IMO. He has bags of energy and is technically sound too, he just needs time in the role.

We could end up with a Welshman, Englishman and Brazilian fighting for two holing spots!

Considering Hendo was attracting some critisism (unfair IMO) last season re. £16m price tag etc,

I think we are seeing a really decent footballer developing. If that situation does arrive where Allen,

Lucas and Hendo are fighting for the two holding positions it can only be a positive thing.

  10. Ive said all along that he has the makings of a very good player. Nothing that has happened suggests anything different to me.

Sorry, thought you were serious, nothing against Jay he's just not going to cut it, imo.
