A complete joke on Sky last night, why on earth would a man with 100% Leeds United in every part of his body, sit and spew the utter drivel he did last night about the current squad and management, as if he had been taught by a media consultant. I expect more from Lorimer, I expect a reaction to the drivel he must surely see from a very very poor Leeds United team both on and off the field. FFS, Lorimer, you're not blind, say what you really feel, not what you're told to, even if this means losing your directorshp.
We played well!!!! What game did you watch? Bradford passed the ball around better than us for large periods and just seemed to tire towards the end which made us look better.
I've watched the game 3 times now. Everything about our game was better. The only reason we didn't win by more was how well Bradford played.
Or maybe he knows what really is going on behind the club. There is still a chance that the factors we don't know cause all Leeds fans to hate him, but the truth may cause people to like him, you never know. No average fan knows the truth. What he says could well have been the truth.
I thought Leeds played well too - Clayton was brilliant. Obviously we were a little light upfront but that was to be expected. Bradford's first goal was all down to Parker not tracking his man but their second goal was brilliant. Once O'Brien came off they didn't really have a sniff at goal!! I would rather have a hard fought victory that showed a few things to work on for the weekend than an emphatic victory that hid the flaws.
Yes I was listening to Lorimer as well and I just said to my wife - "how sad, Lorimer has become one of Bates' stooges"!! Not that she even knew who Lorimer was
there was a distinct class difference, and once Leeds got some confidence back it was no contest. We showed what we're capable of and what won us so many games last season last night. It could have been 4 or 5. I remember chanting "if we score 5 we're on the pitch" in Carpe Diem. I was in a good mood for the first time of the night by that point.
We were nervy at first but in the end I would say we played pretty well. Bradford played out of their skins as you would expect. Parker was completely at fault for their first, let his man get round him far too easily. Could possibly have done more to get to the ball for their second but it all happened in a split second and once their guy got on the ball there was nothing we could have done.
I thought Lorimer looked as uneasy about it all as Grayson has been looking. Something ****e is going on behind the scenes, one day the true depths of Bates lack of support will come out.
