Well we're coasting it then. We are a whole point and place better off. What are people worried about???
I think by this time in 2012 (not 2011) we had stuffed both Palace and Cardiff, both of which went on to get promoted to the Premier League and we had also just beaten Middlesbro at their place!

When we start deciding our season end fate at this early part of the campaign you can feel the lack of belief in what our management are doing, or not doing, in this case. The reason we are where we are is because Bristol City are doing exactly the same as they did back then, and that is absolutely nothing. Remember the heady thoughts after our loss to Hull in the playoff final and we all truly believed that the following campaign was ours for the taking, complete with our new players that we all knew were needed? Remind me again as to whether those new recruits actually arrived, or is my memory failing me yet again, and if I am thinking correctly we have basically done absolutely sod all right since. I know we won the League One title going away but that doesn't buy you the right to success and if Bristol City were even thinking that then they need to get a lesson in life facts and fiction. The word "mugs" comes to mind.
As said in another post,this could go down to the last game on current stats. Those figures look a tad concerning to me. I really do wonder what the powers that be are doing at the gate.
main difference was that we spent last three seasons in relegation fights. Confidence was rock bottom and we was about to embark on the SoD tenure.
