I've classed myself as a gooner from a young age, and always wanted to see my local team (Swansea) do well. I'm a season ticket holder down the liberty, and have tickets for Sunday - can't wait for what should be a superb game between two attacking, and stylish sides :D

Never in my wildest dreams did I think Swansea would get back to the top flight - but here we are, playing my long time favourite team! I couldn't believe last year I had the legend TH14 warming up on the touch line right in front of me! WOW :emoticon-0111-blush

Hope all you gooners have a great trip down, enjoy the match, and grab a bag of rossi's chips on the way home ;)

Myself - split down the middle - I will be pleased and dissapointed whatever the result sunday - hopefully not a hiding for the swans, and cant see a hiding the other way around. 4-3 either way would do me :D

    Should be an entertaining game.

Swansea are the only team I don't mind losing to, but hopefully we win.

After Swansea's financial troubles in the 80's, i never thought i'd see them in the top flight again. It has to be good for Welsh football in general and though as a Jack you may not agree with me,i'd like to see Cardiff getting promoted. You never know but the PR dept of the WRU aka BBC Wales may one day realise that rugby isn't the biggest sport in Wales

It's a game played by men with funny shaped balls.

tbh - i completely agree. may be a jack - but would like to see all welsh clubs doing well - including wrexham and newport. good for welsh football - and boy does the welsh team need it! <doh> also better to be in the same division - have a derby, and get one over on your rivals - just not so good being on the receiving end! ;)

amazing as you say - only about 8-10 years ago - we almost went out of the football league - and here we are entertaining one of the glamour clubs. all the years in the lower divisions - and didnt come close to drawing arsenal (probably because half the time we didnt make the 3rd round! :() .... 2 years in prem - and second year we get the draw i was waiting 30 years for! amazing.

anyway - hopefully this is one of many many meetings to come between the clubs! there is a lot of synergy there in the way the clubs are now run, the football style, etc.

It would be brilliant if both Wrexham were to get promoted from the Conference.Newport are another team who fell on hard times a few years ago and have done really well to get to where they are.

well, a cracking game lads! neither team really wanted a replay - but hey ho!

Was surprised how many you brought down - good shout, and also VERY loud.......which surprises me. My visits to the emirates have been surprising as the home fans are so quiet. I remember when you beat the swans 1-0 last season at home - I must have heard the home fans chant 3 times!

Where do all the away fans go when playing at home!?

I think it a problem all clubs have.At away games the hard core fans are together whilst at home they are spread around the stadium

I live near Brighton and am looking forward to Arsenal coming down here. We've just got the small matter of a replay to get through first.

Come on you Gunners...Seagulls...Gunners....Seagulls...I'm confused!

Could be, but Brighton are THE Seagulls

What makes it worse is Brighton hate Crystal Palace who are the Eagles. Eagles, Eagles, Eagles and Seagulls, Seagulls, Seagulls sound the same when chanted, thats confusing as well!!!!
