    In response to this from the Hawkster on the Buzz thread (but I didn't want to hijack that one)

    Adel must be almost our longest serving play now if you take his loan spells into account!

    I guess it is either Helguson or Connolly (if he is still with us). Or have I forgotten someone?

    Yep Cerny or Ephraim. Connolly would be up there too if he's still ours.

    I love the long standing players the one club men, but alas they are so far and few between. Will we ever see the likes of Macca again? probably not 17 years is a lot to ask in this era but does anyone think we will see a 10 year player agian?

    It's a bit sad that we really no players that have a decent juration at the club.

    It will happen again but not with such movement up (and down). There's progression and replacement currently. If we establish ourselves then I could see one of our decent players (not the best - they'll get poached) will stick around for 10 years.

    It's basically a case of the player's ability and ambition being consistent with that of the club (and there I go again making it sound like a mathematical equation).
