Longest pass

    I read an article many years ago ,although tongue in cheek, about the longest pass in football.

    this was from SCOTLAND TO DERBYSHIRE, or vice versa.

    anybody got a better one, both players must be the same team of course, otherwise it would have been BRAZIL TO SCOTLAND.

    What about Wolves a few years back, they had VENUS in the side, take some raker to pick him out!

    Not sure about that but apparently when Colin Milburn played cricket for Burnopfield he hit a ball 1.5 miles. According to legend, he twatted it towards silly mid on & knocked it out of the ground. The ball landed in a pick up truck which was seen by kids outside. The truck was on its way to Byermoor tip some 1.5 miles away.

    Or so they tell me, I came from around there when I was a kid and it may just be possible, the old locals swore it was true.

    My dad was playing golf at durham city, he sliced the ball off the tee onto a coal wagon heading south on the railways. So he said anyways
