    Just a thought, but can anyone name a better GK choice for the England squad?

    1st Joe Hart
    2nd ...................
    3rd .....................

    Others:

    Carson has gone to Turkey, Foster won't play unless he is no1, Robinson has retired, James' is passed it, Stockdale looks average,

    Anyone got any thoughts?

    Born and raised in Preston as far as I know. I would have thought he would only choose an ancestral country if he had no chance with his own country (No offence intended).

    I honestly think he is as good as any Goalkeeper for a place in the squad.
    Fielding, Stockdale & Green are all in the same league so that performaces can be judged, and so far he seems far better to me.

    He played a game for England Under-21s. He's certainly better than Fielding and looks no worse than Stockdale who's 2nd choice. Of course Fielding and Stockdale are both youngsters who are being groomed for the full squad when they almost inevitibely improve.
