Apparently in the last year of his contract at Marseille so being quoted at 15M but could probably go for less He's an had decent 2 years there without being amazing but I see some similarities to a young Henry (obviously he wont be that good) If RVP leaves this is a more realistic target for us especially as he can play out wide if needed. The plan should be for Podolski, Giroud and T.B.C to all share in the goals rather than rely on 1 main centre forward
£15 Mil is clearly too much but we have not even been linked to this guy until today and with the interest from Newcastle, it could be hard to get him. Newcastle is being seen as a great club to move to now for French players. Newcastle look like they are further down the road with this transfer.
Every time I have seen him I have not been impressed, granted I have not seen him that much. I dont think we will sign a new striker even if RVP leaves unless bentner or chamakh leave, and that is looking increasingly unlikely.
A Striker that is similar to Henry in style/phisique, but I don't think he has the ball control or awareness to go with his pace. Still young though.
