Yep ill be making what I can of the trip, but I'ts not so much a holiday and more a personal business trip.. Nonetheless its a nice change from sunny Northumberland In mid November.. Any tips on a few things I can check out through the day? I don't drink btw.
go visit: blue mosque Basicila cistern haj Sofia these three are around the same square. tookapi palace and museum also not far away but with a looksee. all of the above is in Sultanahmet across the river. take a 2 hour boat cruise down the Bosporous from Galata bridge and when you get back, next to the bridge there are Balik (fish) boats who do the best fish sarnies. then go to the grand bazaar and get yourself lost. Spice bazaar is sublime. Near where you are staying is the Besiktas stadium. It’s sunken partly into the ground. They play in black and white too.
You need a bit more practice to compete with Mr B.... He's been playing well by all accounts, and expects to be in the 60s before long. You have some way to go....

The govt should just say to these Labour mayors playing party politics... ‘fine... we’ll not lock you lot down then’... and then wait for the death toll to rise. Hopefully although it's hard to understand the long term benefit of it. I said right from the off lockdown needs to be one mega lockdown on until its a few weeks since any reported cases, but oh no now we're looking at this forever. This is never going to go away now! It's breeding with other diseases, so there's going to be multiple different strains of it. This things basically the common cold on steroids and rebind me how long we've been looking for a cure for that? We're ****ed! You can get it multiple times and a vaccine even if ever discovered wont work on all the strains.
