Do we even need any? We were all expecting NP to be dipping in to the loan market, but aside from CB cover I'm not sure we even need any loans. Would anyone else get anyone in?
We could do with some cover but I doubt teams would be happy to loan out their promising youngsters just to sit on the bench/ play in the reserves.
the form we are in at the minute seems to of silenced fans calling for more signings doesn't it? Waghorn I think will be our last signing until January as McShane and the other will return next month!
Judging from what the Leicester fans say about Fryatt and Waghorn both work better with a big striker who can bring the ball down. Considering Adebola doesn't look like he can perform that role it would be good to get in a a tall (mobile) striker who we can bring off the bench when we need a plan B.
Spot on Craig, I've been saying this for ages, in the mould of Folan but better. Tall and with pace, how about Beatie? Still think we need a hard midfield man if Oli does'nt get a look in. Many will say Oli aint the hard man but he's about the best option we've got at the minute. I'd dip into the market for a tall YOUNG-ISH striker and hard man, talkative midfielder.
I could do with a loan. I'm looking for £500k and I'll give a 10% return over six months. Let me know if you're interested.
Adebola hasn't really had a chance, he looked just that player in pre-season albeit against lower league opposition and a Liverpool side that couldn't give a toss. I think with the amount of options we have up top already it will be unlikely to such a player come in, although I'd rather we'd have done better than Adebola to start with. Howard maybe as he already knows both said strikers? Small change! I'll just pop to the bank then shall I?
Bringing loans in can create unrest and disruption. Form seems to follow happy settled sides. You look at the teams that go on long runs, invariably it's the same players week in week out. I reckon Nigel realises this, hell why change something that isn't broken? Stop looking at that grass at the other side of the fence, our side is greener! UTT
We've got nothing to lose bringing in a Man U kiddie or two on loan especially if that means we can get them at knocked down prices later on.
after all the insults he has taken in the past, i cant believe that we are all now eager for his return. Haha
Looked like a different player pre-season, just hope he doesn't go back into his old panic mode of playing.
I'm not Mussie - I hope we don't get any injuries if he is our cover. I still think he's useless, although I appear to be in a minority on that one
