cant find a thread /the thread on our loan players where i made a comment regarding our relationship with GJ and Torquay . at the time they were outside the top 8 and due to play 5? of the top teams, certainly teams above them … I note today that half time they winning v one of the teams that were in 4? 5? 4-0 we have 3 players on loan here and they do get game time .. OK it is lge 6 ! with over 80 teams between us but there must be a real feel good factor !

I like Torquay, not for Johnson, but Shaun Taylor who's the assistant manager down there.
Met Shaun again 3 weeks ago in an Exmouth pub, the Grapevine (brilliant if you like real ale).
Long chat about his time here, told him he was a proper player and we loved the way he never feigned injury and his giving 100% in every game he played.
Just a quiet unassuming genuine bloke.

I loved him as a player and leader on the pitch.
    Don’t know him personally.
We could do with him dusting off his boots and putting in an appearance at the gate!
Shame his heart was really at Swindon - I remember reading about his ‘best moments’ and they were all moments up here in SN1

Just watched the 20 minute vid of Torquays win on Sat ...amazingly executed first goal, hattrick for Janneh and a goal for Reid but not bobby! They certainly looked a class above the opposition ….WILL GJ get them up! or fall at the last hurdle!
I think generally it was a good weekend for our loanee's we have more than a "full squad" out there [ almost ]
