Thinking about it why doesn't Amanda look to this option to plug a 5 month gap? I'd have no issue at all with 3-4 top notch loanees who might cost us £1-2m each. It would give us strength in depth, allow us to retain some of the current fringe players (who might be needed for a season in the championship) and allow us to assess a players attitude etc..... All the talk now seems to be about player purchases but I hope loans are part of the mix too..
