Not entirely convinced about the penalty. I am absolutely certain it would not be given at the other end. Not the hill I'm prepared to die on though. I have other quibbles about Mr Atwell's performance, particularly what constitutes the end of an advantage and what Liverpool could have three players at least two yards in our half before a ball is kicked. All in all a decent performance, shame we didn't take one of the chances we had to make things really interesting. I don't buy this Liverpool were poor bluster neither: Watford actually gave them a game and Kamara had by far the best game of anyone on that pitch: Salah went from his back pocket to the sub shack, and Mane fared no better. You can only play as well as the oppo let you.
Although the "system" brings in players that might or might not be good enough, I have been very impressed with Kamara. A real find, so I hope that we can keep him happy.
As Alan Shearer said would the same incident be given next week when Liverpool play Man C ? Anyway I think we had run out of gas a bit and might have lost anyway . Just need to translate good away performances (with one exception) to home ! This is where we need to be on the front foot and take chances /cut out errors .
I thought the penalty was stonewall, but you nail it with: “be on the front foot and take chances /cut out errors”
