(of course they posbably wont We are on 71 after 32 games. so we have 11 points advatnage (and gd is vastly better so call it an effective 2 point lead) so need 2 wins for 6 to take that spot of 4th. So breathe easy right? Fulham (a) Everton (a) West ham (a) Spurs (H) villa (a) wolves (h) we might be scraping a point here and there unless we can turn this round. It could be nvery still v spurs away! now resturn to the comment that has literelly OFFENDED peopel. we might be looking at 4th Villa have 63 points after 33 games so could get 15 more points = 78 points. bournemouth H Cheslea H Brighton A LFC H Palace A. are we that sure this side won't get 15? theres 2 tougher game sin there for them but they are racing spurs still so have every incentive to win. LFc again have 71 points after 32 and a vastly superior GD. So call that a 9 point least in effect (8 but gd helps.) so LFC need 8 more points (2 wins, 2 draws or 3 wins) out of 6 matched for 3rd. Its a tight pitch and it suits them but they are on the beach. They might fancy it being on tv. Everton are fighting for thier lives and its a derby where they are allowed do just about anything and not get a card. This is tough West ham (a) moyes. If LFc ever had a game that suited this would be it. but thats not delivering. we have to play Spurs H. The counter suits them and we leave gaps. Villa A. th game nobody mined be saying was the toughest of the run in before. it still is. Wolves H. they will be on the beach. but we could be in a rut by them and all distractions. heopfully we have something to win this for. The next 3 games are must win. They were must win before palace and I said we had to win those games starting with palace in that match thread before the game was played. I find it funny that we are not supposed to take any game for granted but either feel slighted, insulted or god knows what when someone suggest we better look after 4th place first before thinking titles after these results. I'd never call that feeling entitled though.
As you and I are having an ongoing discussion, I'd just like to make it clear that I haven't labelled you or anyone "entitled". As I said in response to JB earlier, it's not a word I would use. Entitled means you think you have an inherent right to something because of who you are, and I don't think any of us believe that. It's not the same as being overly expectant based on an unrealistic assessment of one's own abilities. As I pointed out to Cytrax last week, entitled and deserved are not synonyms. We're not entitled to be top 3, but we do deserve it based on our performances so far. I don't think we'll drop that many points, btw - unless it gets to the stage where the last couple of games are futile.

Tbf, I think we can relax a bit now if we're realistic and accept we have no chance of winning the league. With that, I'm optimistic we'll relax in front of goal and win at least three of our last six games. I think we'll lose at least one and draw one more too, but there shouldn't be that much pressure on now. Shattered that we're all but out of the Europa though, as I do think we could have put all our eggs in that basket now and still safely walk 3rd place. Sigh.
