Shelvey likes scoring goals against us... And own goals for us... <laugh>

He's always involved in our fixtures, maybe not always for the right reasons.

Really, that is interesting I couldn't see his point and didn't think AOC played very well.
The graphics he was showing also made no sense.

Got a link to what Klopp said?

    BBC site.
Didn't look further for anything specific to the last game, but clearly Klopp is seeing something.

I thought Ox played well. Didn't do anything to stand out but he work hard and tried to make things happen. Still a long to go for him though

We don't see it all though, do we? We see what the cameramen/director choose to show us and rarely do we get a big enough view to truly assess movement and shape. This is why being at the ground is such a superior experience overall.
Even with what we can see we're not necessarily following anyone other than those actually in possession.
There'll still be some on here who insist that their contrary opinion is correct, because this is human nature - but my logic suggests that the coaching staff have a far more accurate awareness of the big picture, which is why I rarely moan about their decisions.
For years we've seen players like Hendo and Wijnaldum criticised for their style of play and their decision making, I've always maintained that they were doing what they were told to do to the best of their ability. Both were criticised for being negative, but both have demonstrated what they can do going forward when allowed that freedom. The role they were playing is one that routinely goes under the radar with most of us.
Tbh, the constant carping on here after a poor result often puts me off coming here for a bit - and the belief that we as armchair fans know more than the professionals is frankly silly.

It's great to have an opinion and enjoyable to discuss the game but when people push that as knowing more than the manager, coaching staff or players it's laughable.

That is one of the main reasons I don’t generally comment negatively on players despite being amazingLy pessimistic
I also think that hard workers are essential to any team - and good ones
I mean top top ones I personally believe are rarer that talented players
Also players like Origi are amazingly rare that are pretty talented and are happy to not just sit on the bench and take a cheque but come on and make a difference and never moan
    I loved Kuyt too
Not many like him - similar but not his level - but it’s just an opinion

Ox made some runs and some passes v newcastle but in the end it's about balance and henderson and thisgo provided little to none as a pair.

Newcastle only threat was maximin running and we basically left the whole midfield vacant at times.

Thiago had a bad game, he usually grows into a match but it just didn't happen for him.

Yeah, bowlers but for me it's more about shape and while they stood beside cbs for a pass sometimes, neither provided any adequate cover as they lashed up the park with abandon

Yeah. I said a few days ago that it's good to see how involved he is and has bought into things in a big way - but his performances are still a bit erratic, and that surprises me.
