I missed 20 mins in the middle of the match. Did the ball not go out of play after about 20 mins because 2 mins of injury time? It took Pickford that long to take his first goal kick after 5 mins

 

Mane needs to make up for that ****e. Should have been a tap in.

 

We frustrated you well for 40 mins, and you created **** all.

Then a moment of brilliance from Salah, great finish.

We've now got to come out and have a go, let's see how that pans out......

 

I've noticed Mane has probably been feeling the pressure to keep up with the other players and score more goals, but that is absolutely no excuse to be selfish in a position where a pass to Salah was a pretty much guaranteed goal.

I bet Klopp will be fuming tbh.

Anything less than 3 points and he should be fined.

 

Everton have approached it correctly but half the battle is using the ball when you have it, Niasse has offered them no sort of outlet nor held the ball up.. In a 90 minute defensive match with no out ball I would fancy us to score 9 out of 10 times with the individual quality we have

 

Previously he has opted to shoot but the circumstances have allowed him to get away with it. This particular chance is made worse by the fact it's a derby, game is still tight and that the shot he took was ****ing awful.

 

Our midfield is offering little in the way of creativity.

Oh and I'd much rather see Firmino offering support to Solanke down the middle rather than Mane.

 

so far a toss up for our best player between Gomez & Milner !
great goal by Salah but he has been fairly poor on the ball till then.
Not normally 1 for stats but love to know the average length of Evertons hoofing "passing".

Chill tobes, was only a question as I missed half the game. Wondered where only 2 mins had come from

 

Everton really are ****. It’s been an embarrassing performance from them. Not having it that they defended deep and been compact and frustrated us. We’ve let them off the hook with our selection - no creativity from the middle - central midfield can’t pass centrally and we end up shifting out wide.

Expect Everton to come out second half which will hopefully give Salah and Mane more space to run into.

Hope we do bring on either cout Or Firmino at some point to kill the game off.

 

Gomez has been the best player this half. Pretty much won everything. Getting better and better. Robbo has been good as wel but wish he wasn’t looking to cross all the time.

 

£160m spent last window for this.

They'll still claim Moshiri isn't a #fraud though.
