I wouldn't call him a leader. I think he's developing that way but he can still drift in games but compared to say fernandes he's far better. Odengaard is only 25. Saka and martinelli 22 Saliba 23 Calafiori 22 Timber 23 Rice is only 25 Havertz is also only 25 but a money grubbing nasty twat Gabriel is 26 Obviously white is no leader (selfish orange twat) jesus isn't and zinchenko isn't. The only oaps are partey(nasty scumbag), merino(new), raya (bit average) and sterling (goner) When we started out of our success years klopp had payers hitting their prime.amd leaders all over the park. Robbo, vvd, matip, fabinho, Henderson, Windy pops, firmino. Salah. It was a certain type of team but it was very good at what it was good at and they were all real leaders. I think Gabriel has developed from an avershe looking buy into a senior leader but their best players are all young and frankly that's like partey and white will never set a standard off the park. The petulance and cheating reflect the manager imo.
Agree, we were very lucky not to be 2 or 3 down at HT to be honest and then it's miracles required. Slot is clearly very astute and can analyse and adapt after the break to great effect, hoping he can begin to get those messages out during the game so we don't risk being out of it before we've adjusted.
I just think the side doesn't look like it's playing much slot ball at the minute. Trent did all his best work wide but was running about headless in the middle. Thst can't be slot ball. You've konate and then Joe goes doing the work of two players as a result. That's last years plan. The 4 man press up top has fallen back a bit. They are certainly listening to him. And adapting and we certainly just stopped attacking after the second goal which seems now to be slots way. But we have to give credit to Brighton for a big effort that faded. We dug in honesty and survived as best we could rather than much else they didn't get their second so then thry dropped off and we got our goals. I said pregame it was going to be one of our toughest games of the season such is my respect for brighton
