Morning all. Just a quicky - must work today! My season ticket holding pal has got me n my girl our tickets. He says 42000 sold, that includes 3000 for Liverpool. Couldn't get in East Stand. In North stand for the first time. Right behind the goal, apparently. Anyone comment on the view from there please? x
I sit in the North Mate and the view is great, although the atmosphere has been lacking the last few years. Dunno what it's like in the extension as i've never been up there, if your in the lower, it's heavily season ticketed, but good craic and i personally prefer a behind the goal view (odd, as i was main stand roker wing before the move!)
Thank you BB. Last time I was behind the goal i think it was in the childrens enclosure at Roker park! Always stood right at the front so I could see meself on Shoot on the Sunday! Anyway guys and gals, only dropping in once or twice today. I MUST crack on. So try not to say anything interesting or argumentative til bout 7 tonight, ok?! Cheers x
I have sat directly behind the goal before and it's a bit 50/50......when the action is your end its great....you feel like you're in it....when it's the other end it's a bit frustrating, can't tell if the ball is coming towards you or away from you.....I have sat there before and had to move to an empty seat higher in the ground at half time.......... But hopefully there will be no empty seats!
