    I can see him leaving for sure in the summer. I'd say bidding will start at £10m though.... as he's better than MD was.

    Liverpool are chasing Newcastle right-back Daryl Janmaat for a summer transfer, according to reports.

    Janmaat, 25, is reportedly being lined up by Brendan Rodgers as a replacement for Glen Johnson when his contract expires at the end of the season.

    The Dutch defender, who joined Newcastle for £5 million from Feyenoord, is tied into a six-year contract at St James’ Park but Liverpool are considering a summer bid.

    Janmaat was linked with Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United before joining Newcastle, so a transfer to Anfield would come as a surprise to Reds fans.

    This! Unfortunately for us, this is a dream for Mike. Having a player double in value in a single season probably gives him wet dreams.

    Selling Janmaat, Perez and Aarons (plus Sissoko for far more than we paid) will be getting Ashley foaming at the mouth.

    I reckon we could get £50M for those - I would accept if we got in a proper manager and gave him those funds and a tad ore from our savings account...... dreaming!
