... at least we have a chance to remedy things quickly ... and with a good result move off the bottom of the table ... Personally I hope we go for it like we did today although my concern is that a Liverpool playing Ricky Lambert up front will target our 6 yard box with an aerial bombardment ... and lets face it we were ****e at dealing with that today ... as such anything we do in the attacking third could be rendered undone by the fragility of our defence here ... Not sure what the answer is - possibly play Wes, Wasyl and Liam with Jeff Schlupp and perhaps Simpson as wing backs? Thoughts?
My idea of going for it wouldn't involve 3 centre halves. Much as I like De Laet, I think we need to get someone more defensively minded in that position, but keep with roughly the same structure. I'd consider bringing Moore back in at RB, doesn't look like Simpson's going to be playing (why did we sign him?), but keep Schlupp on the wing where he was effective today. No tweaking ahead of the defence.
