I actually think we'll win if Pards plays Ben Arfa <whistle>

    2 - 1 win for us!

Suarez is overated. 9 goals and 8 assists in 29 games for Liverpool. Whereas Ba has played the same amount of league games this year and scored 21 goals and has 1 assist.

Suarez has a lot of talent but not the end product you need from a striker. If Carroll was playing like he did for us they'd be **** hot together, but Suarez is a secondary striker, he needs a partner who compliments him IMO.

100% he is fantastic but needs someone to partner him. He's more of a Berkamp than a Shearer.

As it is i'm not massively confident going into the game. I usually am, as you guys always attack leaving yourselves exposed. Trouble is we havent got the players to punish you atm.

Could go either way to be honest. If I was a betting man I'd say 2-1 us but I really don't know. Could see you sneak a win, or a 2-2 draw.

We do better agaist the better teams who attack us anyway, rather than the teams who sit back at Anfield.

I hope we play Ben Arfa. Within ten minutes of him coming on yesterday the game was won. I can see him finding a bit more space than usual seeing as Lucas is out. Also Best was abysmal against Bolton.

Love the way you humbly said Shearer rather than Torres...

lol yeah. To be fair i've always admired Shearer. Him and Fowler my fav strikers of the 90's.

I've never heard of the other player you've mentioned...

    Krul
    Williamson
    Coloccini
    Cabaye
    Tiote
    Ben arfa
    Ba

How well these players play will completely dictate what the outcome is. If they play well we can grab a point or more. If they don't we will lose. That's the pivotal backbone.

I always see Suarez as a second striker, like the role Best was playing for us always setting up Ba.

Yeah. We just need an out an out striker. Someone with a touch of class.

    Is Kevin Phillips still about?!

The best thing is its impossible to work out if you're being sarcastic or not, presumably £20m sounds like a bargain buy to a Liverpool fan these days?

I doubt Liverpool fans will agree, and maybe it's a little unfair on Luis, but he and Sessegnon strike me as being very similar players. Tricky, threatening, but consistently fail to have the finish you'd expect of them.

Possibly, but what they can do is put it on a plate for a clinical, more natural number 9.

It's a strange one because for Uruguay and Ajax his goalscoring record is top draw. This season for Liverpool he's hit the post about 8 times! We definitely need a proper number 9 though to compliment his trickiness in and around the box. Someone with movement in the box that's simply there to score...
