what do Liverpool fans know about Max Clark ? They took Paul Anderson and ruined him. 15 is way to young. Not as though young Max Clark is anywhere near Liverpools first team. There are to many fans looking for links and reasons. IMO. Ayala and the Gulash kid look the best option in my view from all the posts. I know of a 16 year old who makes Messi look like James Harper. Problem is he hates football and wants to be an airline pilot like his dad. Shame.
update. it appears that the scouse fans are split between Dean Windass and Nick Barmby. they view either as much cheaper options to charlie adam from blackpool. as for a 10 - 0 liverpool win ? they are so so sad.
They're from Liverpool and they're saying those things about Hull? Very much pot calling the kettle black situation!
People like you really get on my tits. In case you haven't noticed this is an internet forum not an English literature exam. I'm sorry I didn't write, "Here are some ******s on the Liverpool forum", but to be honest I don't care. I'm sorry if you spat your Horlicks out when you noticed the lack of two words, get back to your crossword you sad fart.
Sirius - my apologies. My mistake.....I'd had a beer or two and meant to refer to what you were quoting, NOT what you'd put about '******s'. I was agreeing with you, but made a big ****ing mistake. And I'm sorry - it wasn't meant that way!!!
I went over there and found this interesting: http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/60854-Undoing-Years-of-Anti-Liverpool-Feeling-Lazy-Hacks Still wallowing in self-pity, if anything the media is unashamedly biased towards Liverpool. God I hate scousers.
Agreed. Sky are awful with this. You can feel the commentators willing Gerrard to score so they can go on about Captain fantastic and Istanbul.
I had a word with them. Seriously no idea how they can complain about the media though, they get far too much media coverage for a mid table club as it is.
I do have moments of temper, I'll admit, but not with you in this case.... It was aimed at the Scouser who claimed we were all ex-Manc fans!
There was a load of Liverpool fans from Hull on that site. I wonder how many of them actually go to Anfield, or can name a player other than Gerrard or Carragher. I really don't see the point in supporting a club like that unless you have family connections. Even then I would struggle, if I didn't live in the area for a large part of my life I wouldn't have any real passion for the club.
Was brought up in a Liverpool supporting household and followed them until late 80's when I first went to Boothferry Park, ahh be still my beating heart. Got a lot of mates who are Liverpool fans, none bar three have seen Liverpool play at a stadium then I have City, in fact I can name a few who have been to City more with me then seen Liverpool play. On the transfer front I think it is obvious We are signing Ayala, prob around £1-1.5m, we are likely to pay X ammount up front, recouping some of this through friendly, and X ammount on performance/future sucsess We are likely to sign the young keeper on loan (not good enough reason to arrange a friendly) Liverpool see him as one for the future As for City youngsters going to Anfield, who knows
I remember in our first premier league season when Liverpool came to the KC there were people in the home end wearing Liverpool shirts (guessing they were from the area). Guess there'll be still a lot of people following them from when they were big in the 80s, and this will have carried on onto the next generation. Got chatting to some Liverpool fans (from liverpool) in the pub that day and they seemed like a great bunch of lads the guys we were talking to, they were very complementary about us and said they were impressed with us when we drew at anfield. This may seem a bit patronising but it wasn't, and it helped change my perception of Liverpool fans. Like most top teams though there will be the set of nobs who glory support, then there's the trouble causing muppets who can't remember their own name most of the time never mind the ****ing players!
I know you do and it's very admirable, I couldn't do it. I couldn't just take interest in a team in Sweden and follow their results/watch games, go on their forums etc. If I did I would pick the best one But you could never have as much as somebody who has supported and lived in Hull all of their life. You don't have the same connection to the club as somebody who has the club in their family for years. Granted you probably know more about the team than a lot of Hull fans, and you've watched more matches on the TV/internet, but it's not the same.
I get your point, I do. But in some ways I actually reckon that the passion gets stronger being abroad. Not the same "normal" passion, but something similair. You gotta put in more of an effort to keep it up and hold it "alive". Compare if with the thought of your girlfriend moving to the states for 1 year. Your passion towards her would be stronger than ever This is probably just some random gibberish for most/some of you, but hey, I'm trying to prove my point anyway!
oh ****, the words "I had a word with them" (as the unofficial HCAFC spokesperson) don't fill me with confidence.. what have you said, what have you done? bet you've only gone and told them that Bullard is better than Lucas (which he probably is)..
