£12 quid is just way too much regardless of whether I had a job or not

    Rosenior?

Edit: I am someone who is NOT in the know (just that he's our most saleable "commodity" - maybe Dalglish has a thing for bright pink knees?)

I think it was more likely to be funding the first team.

I think they might be nicking one of our promising youngsters who has not yet seen first team duty. Those with longer memories might remember they took Paul Anderson (now Forest) off us before he ever saw first team duty. When this happens clubs like City get robbed.

Interesting fact about Liverpool, that may or may not be true:

Liverpool are the only existing League team that we've played but not beaten.

Edit: Thinking about it, I don't think it's true at all. Rest assured it was a few years ago though.

Maybe it's an apology for Woy's comments?

Or... here's a real far out idea... maybe it's just a friendly.

Caught a bit of Sportstalk and sandwiched between the talk of rugby the name of Max Clark was mentioned as being one of our promising youngsters.

Well it's a reason to come back to the proper side of the pennines, go to Bob Carvers for pattie and chips and go to the game after ;)

Just had a look on their main site and on half the threads there's the lowlifes of Hull & the East Riding talkin' the club and the city down.

Glory supporting clowns the lot of 'em. Does my head in.

Normally I'd agree, but at less than £10 a ticket (average) the game is going to be worth less than £250k even if we sell out, which we won't. And the game is only really worth what ever Liverpool's normal match fee is (as we could have just arranged the game anyway). Given they go to much smaller grounds than ours it can't be much. I don't see why we'd get the game as part of a transfer when Liverpool could just increase the fee by that small amount (for them).

I could though see us offering £300k for one of their youngsters and them wanting £500k. In response we say we'll have a friendly against them and give them £300k plus the profit. That way they get nearer to £400k and we only need to part with the £300k we originally intended. Or them wanting a loan fee for a player and us offering the profits in exchange. Obviously this wouldn't be Ayala, unless we've got an absolute bargain.

Someone on Tiger Chat says it is Max Clark moving to Liverpool. 15 year old Malet Lambert pupil.

All the same, I'm hoping that is the deal set up for us getting Ayala.

An interesting theory. It will be good to see what actually happens.

    My money is on Ayala.

Didn't realise Clark was as young as that. In that case I think it's clark, too
