Expected to win tomorrow, been the aim for a while to win the november handicap, Baker back on board too, Litigant is flying at home since it came back from France and the Tuite yard expect it to make it back to back wins in the November Handicap @ Donny tomorrow. A juicy 16/1 too. Hopefully this will be my christmas present to you all and end the year on a high as i likely won't get anything for about 6 months now info wise.
Won the race on heavy ground last year. Good to firm forecast Chelsea and hardly any rain forecast at Doncaster. He's never run on good to firm. Will need to run at least 10secs faster on this ground. Could that be a problem?
I can't see Litigant running unless there's some ease in the ground. Tuite took him over to Arc meeting in 2015 then pulled him on the day because the ground was too firm. I'd be surprised if they risk him tomorrow as he's always said he's had problems keeping him sound.
Shouldn't be a problem either way, when he won the Ebor it was on the firm side of good. He's won on polytrack too before. Litigant will likely be retired after tomorrow.
Some rain would be a bonus though as it his preferred. Should still have just enough to repel Cape Cova anyway though, prime draw, primed, Baker onboard. Bit of rain is just a bonus
Good luck tomorrow Chelsea. Down to 12s with some but 16s still available and 18 on Betfair. I don't bet so at least he won't be burdened with my money
He's drifting all evening on Betfair which is usually almost always the best guide to what is really happening with the exchanges etc. Interesting to monitor how it pans out by midday tomorrow.
That'll be litigant. Fair play, the horse is obviously fragile so they've done the right thing by him.
Also got a slight cut on one of it's hoofs last night travelling over, add that to the firm ground and owner didn't want to risk it and rightly so. Hopefully this means it will race on next season fingers crossed!
