Dont understand all this anti-Lita stuff. The guy is clearly 'pitching in' for Boro and Mowbray has him working for the team.
I'd love to see Leroy Lita sign for Swansea ...he's got time to mature and blossom and he's doing that at Middlesbrough.

Good luck to him where ever he decides ...Teeside or South West Wales.

Marvin Emnes is a quality player as well who also settled great while on loan here. These players are premiership quality and were key
Boro players in ripping Cardiff to shreds in their last game at the Cardiff City stadium 0-3

Boro are going to play major hardball in the transfer market. Their parachute payments are drying up, they have sold off most of their talent since coming down, so are down to their last few saleable assets. They really will squeeze any suitors to the last pound.

I agree with Jamie in that Lita 4 years ago would have been a very good signing...
When we played Reading in the cup, i was so frightened of the thought of our defenders playing against Lita and Kitson!

oh please not, honestly we can do far better than that pile of garbage. Failed in the prem and he's hardly set the championship alight with his goal scoring ability. He's not a team player and its all about him.
if we do want another striker then Charlie Adam from Swindon is better suited for us

Am I the only one who wasn't that impressed with Emnes? Sure he looked better than what we had at the time (wouldn't have taken much to achieve that) but I wouldn't have rates him at more than £500-750k based on his performances for us and can't see him being more than a backup at prem level (and we already have Moore to do that). Scoring that goal against Cardiff has unduly influenced a lot of opinions I think.

Sorry Hacker but what I liked was the movement, workrate and willingness to attack. Something I haven't seen since Trundle first came down to the Vetch or when Darryl Duffy was on loan.

Emnes didn't just sit up front and wait for it to come to him like most of our strikers have been guilty of, he made runs, tried pulling defenders out of position for Sinclair and Dyer to exploit gaps, and generally seemed to get involved.

Quite an impressive display on loan and the squad genuinely seemed to like his personality as well, win-win for me.

i'm going to buck the trend here and back rodgers :), Lita scored 10 in 12 last time he was in the Prem, so if nothing else brings a bit of experience of this league. He is undoubtedly talented and a good finisher. I wouldn't say I'd be excited as such by his arrival but I'd definately look forward to seeing him in our shirt, and put it like this out of the strikers we've got I'd prefer the ball to land at his feet when we really need it than any of our other strikers, yes I include Graham in that!

I do rate Lita.. hope BR can alter his attitude a touch tho, you're right there..
