She said neither, she was just highlighting how sad it was that there's a load of unaccompanied kids stranded in the Calais camp and caused a bit of a stir by rather daftly apologising on behalf of the nation.

Yes it is sad but why are there loads of unaccompanied kids in Calais? Why are they there instead of in the many countries they have passed through and could have safely stayed? How did these enterprising kids get there unaccompanied, most of ours have difficulty finding their way to the shops? Maybe they had a bit of help and the payback will come when they are here and the demands for a right to a family life under Human Rights legislation starts with them demanding their families are all allowed in to join them.

Not what the lad that caused her to burst into tears thinks though.

She should be hung for her comments how dare she whilst in a state of emotional strain whilst witnessing the suffering of children apologise on my behalf.

More to the point, what the **** is his dad doing in Birmingham leaving his son to fend for himself in a refugee camp the other side of the sea?

There's only one reason this lad is alone without family and that's because his dad is a ****.

The coalition which invaded Afghanistan involved theUnited States, United Kingdom. Canada, Australia and Germany. Any second rate "stars" from those countries trudging around Calais apologising on their behalf?
Are they risking their lives to get into those countries?

The point is we brutally kill fish for much the same purpose. Pointless when we could eat vegetables. They don't need the whale meat any more than you need to eat steak, every part of the whale is eaten, none wasted and the oil is sold to fuel the economy. It's self sustaining, not over hunted.

More than 50% of consumed fish is aquafarmed in controlled environments. The target figure for 2030 is 66%.

What percentage of whale is farmed?

The UK and France should do the same in the Calais Jungle. They could sell tickets to the public to wade into the camp armed with machetes, axes, whatever takes your fancy. The meat could be sent around the world to feed the thousands of stray cats and dogs or whatever else is starving and struggling. The money raised could then be spent on homing those who did the whole refugee thing legitimately in larger camps over in Turkey. Or on eradicating the threat their homelands currently face.

A problem solved and a charitable act all in one.
