Lives with the fairies like too many luvvies. I would not wish one child ill in that camp however I do not need Lily Allen to take the high ground re our responsibilities. And thanks for offering to take a refugee in kiddo that must be a real pull on your purse strings

So she goes over to France, highlights a problem, tries do something about it and gets slated for it? She said she is going to persuade rich people to get their hands in their pockets to help with aid. What are you doing to help solve the problem?

A ****ing disgusting attitude to slate her for this. She's no Princess Di, but she's at least showing compassion for people who have nothing. How ****ing dare you. ****s. And not in a Not606 manner. Genuine ****s.

Hmmm. Think she's probably a bit hormonal.
Is the choice for refugees safe Britain or unsafe Rest of the World?

Are we the only safe haven, or is that Britain is empty and all the other countries are full?

It's bollocks, how is the UK full? These people have nothing, they've dropped everything they had and just legged it. Imagine what kind of horrors people face that would cause them to leave their own home and flee thousands of miles to an unknown country, leaving behind everything they had. And some people are saying, no, you can't come in here, we are full. Meanwhile, our soldiers, along those from a fair few other 'full' countries are currently tearing their homelands a new arsehole. So we are actually creating the problem, creating a war torn environment for them only to turn them away when they seek shelter from us. Unbelievable.

Refugees go everywhere, we aren't even in the top 5 countries that take refugees on, we're actually ranked 7th after Germany, Hungary, France, Italy, Sweden and Austria. It's not like we are the number 1 destination. It's probably because we have a reputation for handing out benefits to any mug who can work out how to con our daft system, but non-UK residents have to live here for 2 years before they are entitled to anything benefits wise, they can't just turn up and get a massive house.

    By population density?

The world is a really big place, by comparison we are a small overcrowded island.

Odd that so many people that we allegedly bomb want to come and live here.
Don't think many Brits fled to go and live in Germany in WW2.

Just seen this on YouTube...Its nothing more than a publicity stunt for her next $ucking awful album...We're already been swamped in our own country. Time to close the doors and eject those who shouldn't be here...

We aren't the enemy, the comparison would be fleeing to live with ISIS. These people aren't PoW's, they're civilians. They don't see us as the enemy, but it doesn't mean what we are doing is right.

The world is a big place, but that's not a valid excuse for turning away people who need genuine help.

Sorry but there's humanity in Turkey,Greece, Hungary, Italy, Germany and all the other counties they had to cross to get to Calais. Why not stop in one of those states if all they want is safety.
