....or can it?

For he certainly does owe us one
A gent by the name, Ilderton,
The sound of his name
Just recalls the game
At Tranmere where we were undone

I had hoped we might never see
Him ever again referee,
In this hemisphere
But now it appears
He´s being let loose in Barnsley

We must hope that lightning won´t strike
Again when we take on the Tykes,
He may have forgot
But most here have not
As ´smilies´ go he earned a

I hope, now he´s come up a tier
We may not have so much to fear,
Just wishful thinking
Maybe, but to sting
Us once more, would not get a cheer

For this one wíll be hard enough
That it would be even more rough,
If he who´s to blow
Was the star of the show
With a performance entirely duff. OTBC
