To spare myself from going mental from obsessively checking every football site known to man for the slightest hint of a signing Ive decided a distraction might be in order...

My inspiration is the 'random' sightings of footballers being texted in to 606 and the like. Imagine you are a professional footballer, you've finished your morning training and are free for the rest of the day. Would you take a day like today as an opportunity to mess with people's heads, by getting a plane or train in full view of several football fans...could you be more imaginative than that?

Not sure if this sounds like a better idea in my head but it cant be much worse than slowly sucked into the bizarre universe that is transfer day speculation...

Didn't David James do this a few windows back? He got into his car in front of the SSN reporter, drove around the block and came back <laugh>

I'd get up ridicuously early and walk out of the gates of as many training grounds as possible.

Carlos Tevez should go down Nottingham, I reckon the Forest fans would actually get their hopes up.
