Is on the agenda for the end of this season, to quote Huw Jenkins directly, so the board is seriously considering both, which is bloody good news in my books! http://www.swanseacity.net/page/Latest/0,,10354~2527865,00.html
The timeframe has been set Dai, as you can see by direct quotes above, if we secure our place in the premier league for the next two seasons as mentioned above, we will put the expansion in place, as I have said all along the board decides when they are ready to do so, so its in our hands to stay up now.
thats where the TV money should be going, look at hull and how they blew all their money on players, at least you have something to show for it if swansea do get relegated
sorry jager its not even close according to the club last week. lots of discussions and red tape and agreements to sort out yet, i would not hold your breath as you will be disappointed......to early yet about talking about extending a building that is not ours in the first place....
Dai again you are bringing up about the stadium not being ours, that has no relevance as I have explained to you on a number of occasions, and the timeframe is being set, and providing we as in a club continue to meet the criteria it will go ahead.
So looking at this link below, to get category one academy status it would require a minimum investment from the club of £2m a year on development and running it, with further funding from the premier league of £750k a year, so nigh on £3m a year, it's expensive yes but man will that bring dividends in the years to come ! Build costs for the academy is I have heard and seen somewhere linked, could be upwards of £10m to the club, this is a huge investment for the club. http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/paulfletcher/2011/02/football_league_fears_over_pla.html
That link did`nt work for me, but this did: http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/paulfletcher/2011/10/football_league_votes_in_favou.html
