As an exile from London, I can only really get to a handful of away games. Our support away from home has been bloody good in all the games I've seen this season. However, I was surprised and a little worried to see that I had no difficulty getting tickets for the Man Utd game at the "release to members" stage. Against Liverpool in December I had no chance because all 3,500 odd seats were snapped up immediately. I watched the game from the comfort of the Millenium stand courtesy of a Liverpool season ticket holder who gave me his ticket. So what has changed since then?

I see that we have also not yet sold out our measly allocation for Sunderland this Saturday.

Loyal supporters will go to matches when they can and support as best they can even if there is a chance of being on the wrong end of a hiding. Hopefully, last night's fantastic comeback will now prompt some of those who had thought of watching it on telly to turn up and make some noise.
