Saints have just lost their sparkle we had at the beginning of the season, perhaps other teams have found us out but we lacked leadership, movement, width, aerial ability, pace and any real threat for the whole game. I think our midfield was incredibly static and recent weeks it seems to have been by-passed neither protecting our defence. But I think a lot of the blame tonight has to go to the manager for some strange selections, particularly Harding at right back. I also find that when we are trailing that Adkins changes our formation and we lose all shape and no one seems to know where they are playing and we lose any momentum we had. Still I just hope we can get some of our key players fit and ready for the Cardiff game, although I think the Millwall is important for confidence too.
Win the Midfield and you win the Game. That is where most of the Football is played in the 90 minutes. 2. Did we change the formation when we realised after 5 mins that we had lost the midfield?
