http://sabotagetimes.com/reportage/arsenal-fan-love-leicesters-leonardo-ulloa/ ... couldn't put it better myself (although I actually did predict a successful impact ... and he has been in my Fantasy Footie side from the start...)
Typical armchair Arsenal fan. Championship supporters will all have heard of him but sadly so many people don't achknowledge English football exists outside the prem
I heard of him and didn't rate him at all - was shocked that we spent so much on him and thought he'd be another Akinbiyi. I love how wrong I am
Yeah a lot of people thought we over paid (apart from fosse so fair play) but if you watched any championship football you'd know him coz he got a good number of goals. Remember when we couldn't get a 20 goal a season man in the championship in the past. How many do we think Ulloa can get at this level based on his start?
In all honesty it's a difficult one to call ... but I liked him not just because of his finishing but for the way he can hold the ball up and his overall physical presence ... but I am optimistic, he scores from open play and if we can get balls back from the by-line onto the penalty spot at pace (as Schlupp and Vardy have done) then you'd back him to get something on it ....
I wasn´t to impressed by this buy tbh, especially for the money we spent. I guess that´s why I´m a FANTASY football manager & not a real one. Infact I ain´t much of a fantasy manager either. I got rid of him (Ulloa) before the season started. DOH! Keep it up Ulloa.
... bargain of the season? ... you know what I think http://www.footballfancast.com/prem...a-no-leicester-made-the-signing-of-the-summer
Michu got selected for then world champions Spain after a strong first season with Swansea. Be interesting to see if Ulloa does likewise with Argentina. He'd certainly be a decent head to get on the end of Di Maria's delivery.
