On the upside.. I think Marco has more idea than Klopp.... its whether what we have out on the pitch can execute it..
My immediate thought was that I was pleased we weren't playing them straight after the sacking, hopefully they will have got that reaction out of their system.
Yes Leicester don't really have the big man up front but have vardy with plenty of pace and movement plus tricky quick wingers, we need to much quicker all over the field than the Burnley game they are slow in the middle of defence and yes I think for the first time under Silva we looked a bit leggy on Saturday may be he pushed them to much in Portugal.
Geoff Shreeves asking what we're thinking. "Why haven't we seen that this season before tonight?" Drinkwater and Vardy don't really know what to say.
Neville: "Marco Silva will not come here on Saturday and play like Liverpool did. He won't give them any space. He'll set his team up and make it hard for them. The crowd will be different. Quieter. Let's see how they do on Saturday. That's their real test because Leicester suddenly become favourites again and the pressure will be on them. We'll see at the weekend if Leicester are back or if this was just a one-off."
well we found it ourselves, from the liverpool game to burnley who stifled space and played deep, much different kettle of fish
We need to play a bit deeper, if we play with every man beyond the half way line Leicester will murder us with that ball over the top.
We will win. Tonight was a reaction to the heavy criticism the players have received. Liverpool where terrible which made it easier.
why? why do you want them to get rid of klopp? what's it to do with you? he's amiable and eloquent, but more important than that, he's got liverpool getting results that we can all enjoy, most of the time. unless you're a closet supporter, perhaps?
since xmas, liverpool have won one premier league game. they've been beaten by us, swansea, southampton, and wolves, and struggled to get past plymouth in the cup. i'm all in favour of other teams having overrated managers. just because they've lost to one of our rivals, i don't need their manager to leave.
Liverpool were like a team of cart osses, Leicester back to last seasons form and certainly up for it.
Leicester decide to turn up and they beat Liverpool. Radio 5 thinks it warrants a 60-minute phone-in program (on now). We beat Liverpool, with a new manager, and all we hear is how bad Liverpool were. Have to laugh really.
