Tomorrow is Leicester v Everton in a pre season friendly being played in Thailand to mark the 25 anniversary of King Power. There is a live stream of the game but you will need to pay £3.99

We won 1-0. Gary Taylor-Fletcher scored

Yes a nice boost ahead of the 're-match' ...cue Patches coming on to tell us that it means nothing and can't possibly be compared to a 1-1 draw with Barnsley <whistle>

Pre-season games mean nothing. You don't actually believe otherwise, do you? <laugh>

Bit of momentum and confidence maybe, obviously that doesn't mean we will beat Everton 1-0 on the opening day but it can't do any harm for a pre-season boost but neither does drawing with Barnsley do the opposite, doesn't mean a lot but if you're playing them you may as well win

I see them as fitness exercises, if you win then great, the result isn't important though.

It's unusual to play a team you're playing on the first league game like we did today. I'd like to think it could get in Everton's heads in 3 weeks but I don't believe it will

It is a unique situation, we had a similar one when we played Arsenal in the league and then at Wembley in the FA Cup 4 weeks later.

And I believe you did better in the second match so as we won today in the warm up here's hoping we can improve on that too haha

Having seen the goal it was a great little flick from GTF. A very underrated player

And yet again someone else underestimated Jamie Vardy's pace and they paid for it. Probably the fastest player I have ever seen for us. Martyn Waghorn was considered as the fastest at the club before all his knee problems. I even think Vardy might be faster then Lloyd Dyer

Not with me he isn't. Skillful and still has pace, despite his size and age. But he could do with shedding some weight if he's seriously wants to be considered in the Prem.

And as for Vardy, pace is something that is hard to deal with at any level. That's why Pearson knew he was much better than Conference level. Since he came to us, he's pushed on no end. Can't wait to see him in the Prem.

Not sure Everton will lose any sleep knowing that a lot of 1st team regulars were left out today. Regardless though, a good win never the less. As for Vardy's pace, it is frightening and will cause a lot of problems this season..... Hopefully

He was. Cant remember exactly who said it but he was the fastest at the club. But it was back when we had him on loan

His quality is in his movement, you can see it for his goal, Wood was just standing in the box static waving his arms about, whereas GTF made the opening for himself.
