Can't see why we would want another central defender .. now a quality left-back on the other hand...

In 2009/10 he started the season at a team in the third tier of Italian football, but having played no games he went on loan to a fifth tier club, where he played 14 games scoring twice before the club were declared bankrupt. For the 2010-11 season he went to a team in the fifth tier, who were relegated to a regional league in Sardinia. For the 2011-12 season he was back in the fourth tier and played 13 games, scoring once. He then moved again four months ago, to another fourth tier club, where so far this season he's played 13 games, scoring twice.

There's no link with Brighton that I can see either, other than the Talksport article, which is lifted straight from here...

Rumour has it we are signing both Keane and Lingard

Aslong as Wes Morgan doesnt get injured then we dont need a centre back. We just need to keep Whitbread and St. Ledger fit

Signing Lingard is a possibility, but personally I don't think we have a cat in hells of getting Michael Keane.

They have Smalling, Jones and Wootton there all young defenders coming through still leaning the game. I think Fergie will keep one of Wootton and Keane and sell the other

.. more because I've never been a Konchesky fan ... wholehearted player yes ... but a liability against better players (teams)... if I was an opposition manager I'd simply be telling my 'tricky' players to take him on in and around the box .... definitely our 'achilles heel' defensively ..
