This game was a game of 2 halves for me, which we seem to slowly be slipping back into. We didn't have a bad first half, but we didn't have a brilliant one either, and we certainly didn't hit the ground running like we did beginning of season. We conceded a goal after just 11 minutes, which seems to have happened a few times of late. There's various views on why we conceded the goal, I certainly had mine and will leave it at that. Second half and we had a change of fortune with Lady Luck turning up late in game. After 10 mins of second half Bielsa subbed Phillips with Saiz, I think this was a good move by Bielsa as we seemed to up the tempo regarding attacking, and putting pressure on the Forest defence and keeper, especially around the edge of Forests box. We began bossing the midfield and eventually this led to our controversial equaliser by Roof. Roof certainly handballed it, however, Klich's ball seemed to be going in net anyway and, as luck would have it, the linesman was perfectly placed with no obstruction. I suspect the linesman told the ref the ball came off Roofs leg, or, the linesman mention the ball hit Roofs upper arm which is not classed as handball, unless the rules have changed of course. Either way, Lady Luck was on our side for a change, and with all the pressuring we did in second half, we deserved a bit of luck which always seems to escape us with certain refs. A lot of fans are raving about Forshaw and Klich's performances in midfield. For me this is one of reasons we were able to control the midfield and around the edge of the Forest box in second half. Forshaw is finding his feet again, and we saw that with his performance against Forest. Based on Forshaw's performance, Bielsa is going to find it hard not to start him every game. I know Forshaw replaced Saiz in starting line up, but I think Phillips will be the one to eventually give way as I don't see Forshaw's inclusion harming Saiz's role in team. It's a game we should've won, especially in second half, but, a draw seems fair thanks to Lady Luck. Enjoy. Ext highlights to 16 mins Only post match comments I could find, and mainly about our goal. I thought foresaw was average at best first half and excellent in the second. He looked better in a deeper role. Klich also was much better after the break. Whoever he plays due to tactics or circumstances I think we have a good mix of midfielders to draw from and we’re consistently controlling games. It’s majing that control count that we need to resolve.
