Feeling like everyone else, I felt reluctant to put up any highlights but, at best, we can analyse what we're already talking about. Firstly, let me say the ref was abysmal, a deaf, dumb and blind man could see that. Secondly, thought Berardi was a bit unlucky with his second tackle, especially when some Cardiff players were getting away with murder, and, play acting. Berardi's first tackle looked like he got a toe on ball from the replay, but I won't say I'm 100% sure. Overall the performance was lack lustre, even though we put a bit more effort in during second half. We've been playing lacklustre football for a while now, and with a few exceptions, it stretches back to the first Millwall game for me. We haven't been a patch on the first 7 to 9 games at beginning of season. Some put the emphasis on players, but when all's said and done, it's the coach / managers job to get the team playing together, and at a very competitive and acceptable standard. TC ain't delivering, does make you wonder what was in the dossier, or maybe he's lost it, either way, he's lost it, or maybe he just didn't have it. Roofe was very lazy during Cardiff game, as he was during Millwall game, he's not up to Championship standard despite him having scored 11 goals across all comps. He gave up a lot, dipped out of tackles and challenges, and passing was woefull, he's also very greedy at times. Jansson seems to have lost some shine off his performances this season, I said same thing about 12 or 15 games back, he just doesn't seem to be the beast he was last season. Is he being shackled, is he under special instructions, who knows, but he's lost a bit of the beast in him. Lassoga, while we know he's capable of scoring goals, he lacks pace, he'll be beaten to a long pass more often than not, which is why he's a Wood type player, he needs the ball within a yard of him, or put on his foot. Like everyone else, I disagreed with bringing Lassoga off, especially for Sacko. I think the fans chanting "you don't know what you're doing" was justified, bringing Grot on for Vieira was mind boggling too, but you could see Vieira was tired. 19 or not, can someone please explain what TC sees in Grot, I just can't see it. Foreshaw and Le Bock are our good points to take from this, and the last game. Le Bock seems to know what he's doing at right back, however, he showed complacency when a player snook in behind him and put the ball in net. Looked like Le Bock thought the ball was going out and didn't know there was a Cardiff player behind him. Foreshaw, I like him over all our CM;s. I like the way he drives the ball forwards going at opposition defences, and seems an experienced and busy CM, even though he played a lot of the game at CB. Foreshaw drives the ball forward far better than O'Kane, and is a much better player than O'Kane too. Foreshaw for me is worth both Phillips and O'Kane put together, and a hell of a lot more. He certainly shows how lacklustre, and inadequate both Phillips and O'Kane are in CM. Have to give Orta some credit for both those signings, but begs the question, what could've been had he not concentrated on bringing in so many U'23's. We've gone from scoring for fun, having lots of shots at goal to scoring occasionally, and shooting far less. Had we brought back Becchio, which I would still do, or Antensson, then our attack would've been bolstered. Both are busy players, go looking for the ball, know how to make their own goals, know how to score and shoot a lot more than Roofe and Lasogga put together. All up, the team are not gelled any more, the dressing room picture tells a big story imo, I don't think all is well behind scenes. Radz needs to act fast, before it's way too late. https://www.leedsunited.com/video/93604/extended-highlights-cardiff-city TC's S11 post match interview TC with Eddie and Emma post Cardiff https://www.leedsunited.com/video/93581/christiansen-post-cardiff TC has departed the club. .https://www.leedsunited.com/news/team-news/22977/club-statement-thomas-christiansen
De Bock playing right back? Think you were watching it in a mirror. Do you really support Leeds united? If you examine the goals, De Bock could have easily prevented goals 2 & 3, and possibly goal 4. And yet he's being given relatively high marks compared to others. I wonder sometimes if the people doing these ratings actually watch the match. Go on, watch the highlights (?) & keep an eye on De Bock.
Bring Becchio back Way to undermine your entire argument (nice to see some things never change, in all the time I've been away!), the guy's played about twenty games in the past three years...
Except you missed the point, like your friend Jock. Maybe you should go away again, and reconsider what I wrote, if you figure it out, pass it onto your friend Jock, he always seems to follow people like you.
Whatever you meant, you clearly stated you'd bring Becchio back... which undermines your argument, given the guy is 34, barely played a full season's worth of games (37!) since leaving for Norwich five years ago, and no doubt in poorer physical condition than Lasogga.
