    ================================================
    I'll go with Birmingham's player of the season, yes the same Birmingham who thrashed millwall.
    Newcastle's player of the season from 3 seasons ago.
    And one of the worlds best defenders when fit.

    but hang on you don't have that option do you,as none would ever think of going millwall.<laugh>

    I bet Mighty and TC said the same in 1989-90 when Leeds signed Sterland,Day,Chapman,Beglin and Gorden Strachan but 12 months later when they took your place in the top flight the smiles had gone. And another 12 months later when they became champions of England the silence was deafening.<laugh>

    You have to admit Cheshire its not exactly forward thinking to get to the PL, These guys will be after 2 - 3 year deals (If they live that Long) Wage bill per game? especially Woodgate played what ONE HOUR in the last 14 MONTHS!
    Bowyer holds the record since 2010 for most bookings in the PL & Smith now plays mainly in midfield ( When he does play) has a fitness record which rivals Woodgates!
    I really thought Leeds would try and sign maybe a couple of Huddersfield's young guns, and push for top 6. With the extra games in the Championship the Three Geriatrics won`t last the season!

    By the way Cheshire your reverting a to cliché of Leeds supporters referring to "Before the war ....when we did.... blah blah.... 1980 ....blah blah ...1985... blah blah....1990"
    Will have to start calling you Uncle Albert!<cheers>

    Them 3 playing most games and I would expect to win the league.
    2 massive question marks wages and fitness.but IF.who wouldn't want a defender better than Ferdinand.IF who wouldn't want the 2 best central midfielders in the league to go with the 2 best wide midfield players we already have.

    I am bias I've seen them when fit,but the players i remember are way better than championship.the only question is a big if.

    You're right there LCW, £50 000 a week for a player would bankrupt your club.

    Hi Cheshire, Suppose that's the question, Is Bates going to take the gamble, and it is a big gamble. Tough call when you know what they are capable of.But are they now?
    Will they be asked to take a pay cut? I presume so. Do you think any of them will sign or is it just rumors at the moment?

    Bates would never pay that sort of money,so it would have to be £20,000 +1.5 Million bonus if we go up.type deal, don't think bowyer would go for that as hes a greedy c-nt.Smith maybe, woodgate outside chance.

    <cheers>mighty-would i like it to happen yes.
    Do i think it will happen no.
