Wtf does Mick see in Nouble, dont get the Hunt thing but sounded like Tabb played well. Two points dropped today and cant help thinking Leeds were there for the taking, think Mick got it wrong but then i would say that and naturally nobody else will agree with me.
I agree (honestly, I do!). Nouble is not a game changer. Hunt is a must have. From the sounds of it, the penalty was down to a silly challenge and Leeds weren't going to make anything from the move. Had Town kept a lid on the tackle, Leeds weren't capable of making a goal themselves.
This also does puzzle me, if I were MM I would have Nouble out on loan & Marriott on my bench.! Tabb was one of our better players tonight, Hunt is probably not ready for 3 games in a week, I reckon he will be saving him for Saturday.!
Fair play to anyone who made the trip last night to watch one of the worst games of football I have ever witnessed neither team should have scored so I guess a draw is a fair result. All the best fellas
Went with my mum last night and we were both thinking the same thing - there are some in the side who give it their all every week but there must be a few who decide "well we've done well Saturday so we're off the hook for the next couple." Only way to explain our bizarre form!
The average points haul to make the play offs is (around) 75 points.. we currently have 40 from 28 matches... My crude calculations mean we (probably) need (a maximum) of 35 points from 18 games = 2 points a game... It will be nice to go into the final throws of a season looking toward the sharp end of the league
To be honest it's nice to be in the second half of the season and not be out of the picture, at the start of the season I predicted 69 point haul this season and I don't think I will be far out. I think we are one of the more consistent teams at the moment our bad spells are not that bad and our good spells are not that good but we churn out points. We may not make the play offs this year but I personally think we have taken great steps forward and I don't think we are to far away from being a team that can challenge at the top of this league, we don't need loads of players just one or two in the summer and I believe Mick will have what he needs to mount the challenge. My thoughts won't change if we win a few or lose a few, I think it's best to judge a team over a length of time and this season we have done extremely well against the odds IMO.
