It’s up to outfield players to challenge for those kicks, they’re not making space or getting a head on anything.

Is that it for Paul Hurst?

Slightly better effort in patches tonight but we are worryingly bad!

    Well that was **** again.

We looked like we were competing until the first goal went in. After that it was a story of gifting possession back with lumped balls from the back. I've noticed that our players look terrible on the ball. Leeds were passing in triangles in their full back areas when playing out from the back, in contrast, our lads just hoofed it forward, 'keeper included.

Leeds players all looked comfortable with the ball at their feet, ours looked like they thought they would catch leprosy by touching it! No pressure applied when Leeds were in our third which meant their players could just stand over it and wait for the right movement.

Our play was all rushed and haphazard, Leeds' was calm and measured, helped by our inability to keep the ball or win it back.

I can't really be bothered to pick it apart any more than that, it really was a **** display.

    Sorry, not buying it.

As soon as the ball is in the air it's a 50/50. That is poor odds for retaining possession.
In my opinion we should be trying to pass to feet.

We looked like a team bereft of confidence with all the hoofing compared to Leeds who were comfortable in all areas.

San Diego - Pennington was lucky not to cost us at least three goals today, he was terrible.

For everyone saying it’s the end of the road for Hurst. Might as well have been after Saturday because tonight against Leeds proves nothing.

The way it’s lined up with three fixtures at the bottom I think that gives us a real chance to compete - or to prove that Hurst will never make it work.

Having said that if he is sacked now I wouldn’t lose any sleep over it.

Still looking at the Reading game as the cut off point then?

Apart from the first 20 minutes virtually every ball out went to a Leeds player and back at us. Regardless of whether it was Bart or a defender.

It’s not 50/50 because if the ball is going toward the opposition goal in the air it should always be in the attacker’s favour if they compete properly.

Has to go now! Seriously I don’t really blame Hurst, although the baffling decisions he’s just out of his depth clearly.
Marcus has to step up after allowing him to completely dismantle the team.

I don’t fancy watching three more games of this but changing the manager now is not going to be an easy route to survival and improvement either.

The best way I can put tonight, is since 2003 or so, EVERY town game on the box I've always tried to watch.

I'm back in England for a bit, we've got the south west supporters group who I like / and haven't seen for a while.

Last week, I trained with a new footy side just to see a mate. Turns out I know about 8 of the lads from the past.

Anyway, tonight I thought ' what to do ' and opt to play / train..... got asked to play this Saturday so I might do that.

Immediately after training at 8.30, I thought ' time to check the phone ' - mate had text, 1-0 down.

I'm just at an absolute loss with it all right now. I cannot comment on the game, I watched PSG v Napoli and loved it. I will have a little hunt tomorrow.

He's the one making them baffling decisions. He's an absolute clown. Ineptitude of the highest order.

SEVEN changes tonight for heavens sake.

    I blame this mug 100%.

Not going to agree with you there <ok>

A good defender should be mopping up and out-jumping attackers when the ball is coming at them from the front.

    5 v Norwich, 6 v Hull, new system v Brentford, 7 v Leeds.

Donacien has played RB CB LB LWB been sub and left out due to Hurst signing 10000 million average loanees.

He's been an absolute load of toilet from the get go.

As soon as he was slating the living hell out of players in the summer I was petrified.

I didn't see this coming, but for goodness sake next manager please keep stuff inhouse ....................

If we were up against the likes of Kompany and Maguire I’d agree with you but most Championship centre backs are nowhere near that level - and sometimes it can be up against a tiny full back, there are weaknesses to expose everywhere. Ian Marshall built his whole career around knocking down goal kicks.

I'd still call it a 50/50 ball, there to be won by whoever wants it more, is stronger, smarter or taller.

At least 50/50 but yeah - the point I’m making SD is that our forwards are not fighting for these, it’s not all down to Bart’s distribution.
