Must of get a better deal at ITV. Shame though really cos he spoke more sense than that ****ing idiot Lawrenson and the dour Scot, Hansen (who apparently gets 40k per episode!)

He opted against renewing his contract with BBC and then ITV offered him one as they expected GarethSouthgate to leave them for a new role in the FA. Southgate turned down the FA role and ITV ended up with them both.

Shame, he was the only one on Match Of The Day to talk any sense.

BBC signed up HARRY which is an improvement. Lee Dixon is also an improvement on both Southgate and Townsend.
I am surprised though that Sky did not move for Dixon as they have the biggest set of muppets.

Maybe Dixon would not commute to BBC Manchester studios either.
