Could be Clark then. No compo payments involved, probably a low wage & no need to relocate.

Lee Clark has had huge resources and delivered nothing.

Hudders are exactly where he found them.

    Massively over-rated

i think he'll probably be new leeds manager <ok>

he was a coach at norwich before he managed huddersfield and when he left it all seemed to fall apart and we were relegated to league one. make of that what you will...

    Lee Clark hudders record

    Games 178

    Won 87

    Drawn 51

    Lost 40

    win % 49%

Feels like a backward step to be honest. But I can see it happening.

Clark leaves with the Terriers in fourth position in League One, four points off automatic promotion.

"This was a very difficult decision; one not taken lightly or in response to one result," chairman Dean Hoyle told the club website.

"Lee and his coaching staff have put their all into the job over the past three seasons and has made a huge contrinution to the club.

"However with 16 matches to go we still have an oppotunity to achieve promotion and we have made this change with this in mind."

They must have someone local in mind already that has his own coaching staff ready to jump ship - does anyone know who that could be <erm><whistle>

Grayson - two League One promotions and built us and Blackpool decent squads for the Championship.
Clarke - sacked in League One after failing to get promotion on a massive budget.

    BACKWARDS STEP.

Can we not put this thing to bed now? McCormack, Clayton, Gradel, Lonergan and Pugh were all signed for fees. Far better record when he's spent money than when he's been forced to go for loanees and freebies. If Grayson goes to Huddersfield, I have no doubt whatsoever that he'd get them promoted. But would the most bitter fans in the world be prepared to accept him?

If Grayson DID go to Huddersfield, do you think the coaching staff he left behind would follow him or be loyal to Ken Bates?

Got them promoted in the mid 90s. Be a slap in the face if he goes there and we get their cast-off Clarke.
