The games are coming thick and fast at the minute. Championship high fliers 'Boro come to the Liberty on Wednesday in what I think is our first League Cup quarter final. A long old trip for the 'Boro fans on a cold December evening. Lets hope we can get through to a double header against Arsenal or Chelsea. Take your long johns in case of extra time. I'll go for a 1-0 win for the Swans. Any predictions?
I really can't see us starting the game as we did Saturday , but with a couple of players still out injured and Ash banned , a potential banana skin .Will Mr Laudrup bring Vorm back in for game time .With a semi final place up for grabs I think he'll pick a strong team, and as we're as good as anyone on or day a 3 -1 win.
Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup looks like he'll be forced to make some changes to his team for Wednesday's Capital One Cup tie at home against Middlesbrough. Ashley Williams will miss the game after picking up his fifth booking of the season, which means Garry Monk is likely to return to skipper the side against their Championship opposition. Laudrup is also most unlikely to have any of the injured trio of Michel Vorm, Leon Britton and Pablo Hernandez available either. Hernandez is also set to miss the trip to Spurs on Sunday, while hopefully the other two could come into contention on the weekend. The Swans boss may also decide to rest a few other players and hand starts to the likes of Kemy Agustien and Luke Moore. Angel Rangel is keen to get back into action and back to winning ways after a disappointing 4-3 home defeat against Norwich: 'It's a good thing that the game comes so soon afterwards, especially when you lose,' 'You want to get your mind sorted and get a win soon. The Middlesbrough game is only four days after this one, so hopefully we can win and be happy again.' two old boys maybe playing for Middlesbrough, >,Eamnes and McEachran, I wonder if the latter has improved ,he was pretty lost last season with us ,too light weight and too many games passed him by.
McEachran by all accounts is cup tied , pity I would have liked to see if he's developed since last year
No Danny please we want at least a chance to win the game....Play our strongest possible as we wont have a better chance of reaching a major final and a trip to wembley....
give him some game time if we are winning but i think this is a game for Moore who is quite good with michu if he plays. hope leon is back and dyer gets a game, send on Danny if we are losing and hope for the best....
Arsenal losing at the moment, for a side which rightly prides it self on the accuracy of their passing ,they've been poor tonight, a couple of very good chances to a least test the keeper but nothing of any note.
Hope Emnes gets a decent reception if he plays!!...have seen a bit of McEachran this season and he does look vastly improved, obvioulsy at a lower level but I think he's going to make the top grade at some stage in the near future. I'm going for a 2-1 AET victory, Ki and Schecter to score!!!
I hope it doesn't go to extra time or else I'll freeze my bollocks off. I for one will give Marvellous Marv a round of applause, I remember him scoring the winner at Legoland.
Plenty of time for Marvin, as Dilli say's always be a welcome for him after him scoring against Cardiff. Just hope he has a mare tomorrow night.
Good luck for tomorrow night, shame Villa decided to play a blinder against our make-shift defence tonight
