Quite possibly ccfc although I see this one as a potential banana skin for us. Everything says we should win easily, top v bottom, 16 + goal diff for us, 16 - for them, we are on a good run, they are in poor form. Its a classic situation. They don't have more to lose than they have lost already and everything to win - we are the opposite.

I say play the strongest available team and if we are winning comfortably then make some changes but even then beware of what happened in our last 2 games at their place.

As we all know sport lets stupid things happen so complacency must not be allowed!!! I'm sure Malky will be drilling that into them.

I agree we should underestimate no one. I just don't want us to implode through tiredness and have to play squad players. Better to do it because we want to rather than because we have to.

Rudy and Eti for the FA Cup? Come on MM we want to see the lad play.

Absolutely agree this is a banana skin of the highest order, even though I have predicted a 3-0 win for us the posh have a habit of scoring against us and upsetting our apple cart. I think we have to much for them to cope but all the same I expect MM and the lads will show them some respect but still do the job at hand.

It's all about the all important first goal this Saturday. There will be a large proportion of the crowd expecting nothing less than a win add the £10 ticket brigade to the mix and the expectation level rises. The question is how much will Huds ommision affect the lads at the back.
    Tough game to predict.

Agree totally with this - it really could be the big build up before a massive fall.

On paper, it's a foregone conclusion, but as said many a time and oft, the game isn't played on paper, it's played on grass.

Nice to think of "repaying" Whitts with the captaincy for his loyalty, but I doubt it's a reward he really personally relishes. He's more one to sink into the background and do his own stuff and lead by example, rather than from the front with his gob.

Nonetheless, back to playing them on paper - we should hammer them by at least 4 clear goals.

We will slip up at some point this season but I very much doubt it will be tomorrow.

everything here points not only to a win, but a resounding 3, 4 -0 win, the fact that peterborough are a limited side (and thats being nice), and our 100% home record means what will actually happen is .............

    a peterborough upset :emoticon-0101-sadsm :bandit:

Formation may have an impact upon the game Saturday. Ferguson has kept his teams in flux positionally this season, possibly to their initial or long term detriment depending upon where you think they'll finish this season. Looking at their last 7 games they have tried 4 -4-1-1, 4-3-2-1, 4-4-2 twice, 4-3-3, and 3-5-2. Whatever the formation Saturday, and that's anyones guess, I believe they won't come to park the bus.

3-5-2 could be the hardes for us to break down. No good going long to a lone striker with 3 CBs and going through a 5 man midfield will be difficult. Time for the wingers and the player off HH to start running the channels. Even then we haven't got the natural poacher to tap in any pull backs.

Could be the odd goal from a set piece that wins it. If we get an early goal and they come at us it may be a different kettle of fish.

I'd go with noone, gunner Witts and Conway across the middle and Mason off HH for the front 6. Bellamy off the bench if needed with Smith and KimBo on with 20 to go. Our full backs will need to get through some running for us to win this one.

Sorry fellas some of those formation stats are inaccurate. My fault. Misread and mixed in some opposition formations. However Fergy does like to alternate.

I've read reports that 352 is the formation he's played the last few games including their 3-2 loss last weekend to Middlebrough.

I've read that as well. Very likely to concede against us with that formation. With HH upfront with Bellers or Mason playing off him and Noone and Conway wide but also covering back like last week, their back 3 will be over run like Custer's last stand.

Have they got a horse called Comanche?
